LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a village near the forest. Whenever she went out, the little girl wore a red riding cloak, so everyone in the village called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One morning, Little Red Riding Hood asked her mother if she could go to visit her grandmother as it had been awhile since they'd seen each other.

"That's a good idea," her mother said. So they packed a nice basket for Little Red Riding Hood to take to her grandmother.

When the basket was ready, the little girl put on her red cloak and kissed her mother goodbye.

"Remember, go straight to Grandma's house," her mother cautioned. "Don't dawdle along the way and please don't talk to strangers! The woods are dangerous."

"Don't worry, mommy," said Little Red Riding Hood, "I'll be careful."

But when Little Red Riding Hood noticed some lovely flowers in the woods, she forgot her promise to her mother. She picked a few, watched the butterflies flit about for awhile, listened to the frogs croaking and then picked a few more.

Little Red Riding Hood was enjoying the warm summer day so much, that she didn't notice a dark shadow approaching out of the forest behind her...

Suddenly, the wolf appeared beside her.

"What are you doing out here, little girl?" the wolf asked in a voice as friendly as he could muster.

"I'm on my way to see my Grandma who lives through the forest, near the brook," Little Red Riding Hood replied.

Then she realized how late she was and quickly excused herself, rushing down the path to her Grandma's house.

The wolf, in the meantime, took a shortcut...

The wolf, a little out of breath from running, arrived at Grandma's and knocked lightly at the door.

"Oh thank goodness dear! Come in, come in! I was worried sick that something had happened to you in the forest," said Grandma thinking that the knock was her granddaughter.

The wolf let himself in. Poor Granny did not have time to say another word, before the wolf gobbled her up!

The wolf let out a satisfied burp, and then poked through Granny's wardrobe to find a nightgown that he liked. He added a frilly sleeping cap, and for good measure, dabbed some of Granny's perfume behind his pointy ears.

A few minutes later, Red Riding Hood knocked on the door. The wolf jumped into bed and pulled the covers over his nose.

"Who is it?" he called in a cackly voice.

"It's me, Little Red Riding Hood."

When Little Red Riding Hood entered the little cottage, she could scarcely recognize her Grandmother.

"Grandmother! Your voice sounds so odd. Is something the matter?" she asked.

"Oh, I just have touch of a cold," squeaked the wolf adding a cough at the end to prove the point.

"But Grandmother! What big ears you have," said Little Red Riding Hood as she edged closer to the bed.

"The better to hear you with, my dear," replied the wolf.

"But Grandmother! What big eyes you have," said Little Red Riding Hood.

"The better to see you with, my dear," replied the wolf.

"But Grandmother! What big teeth you have," said Little Red Riding Hood her voice quivering slightly.

"The better to eat you with, my dear," roared the wolf and he leapt out of the bed and began to chase the little girl.

Almost too late, Little Red Riding Hood realized that the person in the bed was not her Grandmother, but a hungry wolf.

She ran across the room and through the door, shouting, "Help! Wolf!" as loudly as she could.

A woodsman who was chopping logs nearby heard her cry and ran towards the cottage as fast as he could.

He grabbed the wolf and made him spit out the poor Grandmother who was a bit frazzled by the whole experience, but still in one piece.

"Oh Grandma, I was so scared!" sobbed Little Red Riding Hood, "I'll never speak to strangers or dawdle in the forest again."

"There, there, child. You've learned an important lesson. Thank goodness you shouted loud enough for this kind woodsman to hear you!"

The woodsman knocked out the wolf and carried him deep into the forest where he wouldn't bother people any longer.

Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother had a nice lunch and a long chat.

Marching band practice, makes me tan. I love it and at least I look more local. If not, I were to look like a chinese. That Euphonium makes me look fit, i hope. As you can see I look skinny now eventhough I have been working out lately. I hate to accept the fact that, whenever I eat alot, I still can't get weight.

Well at least some of my uncles were cool enough to stay and convoyed throughout the whole day to visit homes of our relatives and cousins.We didn't have the mood cause exams were coming. Its this coming Monday!

I started of my day, after coming home from the mosque, studying. I ended my day with a snore(eventually I don't snore much). It sure is a tiring day indeed and well, collection today is pretty profitable!

Went to the mosque just now to have prayers. Ramadhan has passed an hour or so ago and I missed it already. During breakfast with the family, upon listening to the takbir over the radio, my dad teared suddenly. Well, he missed his mum I guess. Pitied him.

Btw, before this I had a retest for Principle of Accounts and I think I did really good, to an extend. AND WTF I JUST GOT AN EMAIL STATING THAT I AND THE OTHER FAILURES ARE NEEDED TO GO FOR AN EXTRA LESSON ON A SATURDAY. Second day of Lebaran mind you. But I don't give a damn cause I am in exam mode.

I swear I nearly conquered the whole map of Chinatown & Clarke Quay. I was too bored then and I needed to have time by myself. I found this pregnant cat lazying around and she was such a great company. She made me...smile.

The above picture, I didn't realise there were this 'cats' along the Singapore River. I was pretty shocked to find them playing by the river and they were like the same size as the original creature.

Btw, Im done with my Raya Cleaning. I only cleaned my room and my oh my, its damn clean. I love it.

Baybeats was awesome man. The last item that sums up this year's music festival was fucking great. Electonica. I didn't expect that coming of genre in this indie festival. Its a 2 persons performance and they're from Brazil. The crowd danced, jumped, body surfed and yeah it was hell loads of fun. I danced along with them, destressing myself and digging my soul into the music. Spectacular.

Time passes pretty fast now. Its already August and the Examninations are just around the corner.
I looked through the diploma programmes available at Temasek Pomytechnic and I had been eyeing on one particular course. The Diploma in Law Management and Services and I think its naled that way. I just can't wait to graduate from ITE and clench that GPA of 3.0+ and get into this course!

Went to watch a movie with my usual people. 4bia 2. Watched that many times but the thrill is still there.

Camp was awesome except the part when I got to go band on the last day of camp and asked for an early dismissal. I wanted to cheer with them and have fun amidst the tiredness we all have together. The class of SE was totally awesome and yeah, I miss all of them. And not to forget, someone who I love too. Duh.

Today was a damn tiring day. A very last minute plan to go out and meet mum at McDonald's and have breakfast there. Morning went to Changi Airport to study group with my fellow classmates and complete our POA homework. Ate this and that, we went to school together as a big group. Today's band session was not exhilarating enough. I thought that there were no more problems but looks like I got to settle this one myself.

Me & June went to Bishan Park with much confidence by Mr Lim and we got lost. Wrong location was one thing and the bus fare was another. But that walk we made paid off when that Jazzy band and Soul Percussion performed. Great not bad!

Studies.

I love to study. Apart from POA which gave my life a standstill, the feeling of gaining knowledge seriously made me feel like, what I am suppose to be. Yeah who cares if I didnt get into a Junior College but at least I got be proactive and make my love and family proud.

Love.

For whatever reasons, you shall never be neglected. Everything gets better nowadays and fuck, you are so loved and if you were beside me now, I would have wrestled you and bruised you. You stole my fucking heart but who cares, I got yours.

Family.

Family problems are just getting too out of hand. Maybe its just miscommunication but its affecting the whole Javanese Family (my mother's side). We should all sit down and have a talk about Family Law like that time at the beach. Damn it, it was such a big thing to settle.

Band.

Band conflicts are all settled. My conflict with someone has also been settled. Now I shall worry about National Band Competition. I have many things to improve on the band on Seventh Night of July but i'm just a junior. I don't want any people in the band to think that I'm snatching power from the seniors but hell no. May the band have mirth in every musicians mind and heart.

Went to work, drenched due to the cats and dogs falling from the sky. SJIJ, for the first time, completed the whole set piece; happy must I be. Then rushed to CMPB for medical appointment and I got granted Pes ____. Then follow parents go town and eat. Then go home and now they sleep.

I'm starting to miss playing football. I miss hanging out and chilling with my group of mates from my graduate's class. I miss studying all my 8 subjects (Accounting not included) and I miss that person who gave my world a standstill over love.

I miss being my old self where me and my group of friends always talk about politics, the world, religion, self-improvement, psychology, and of course the future.

I miss my Euphonium which is like...in school.
